I carefully removed and discarded the leader tape, and then wound a quantity of the good old magnetised ferric oxide around a pencil. Once this was done, I unplugged the unsightly aerial cable and inserted my tiny spool of tape into the open orifice. I COULD NOT BELIEVE THE RESULTS! YOU WILL BE AMAZED!!!!!!! Instantly, my high resolution 4K LG TV began a kind of "downgrade". Pretty soon, the static noise disappeared, and I now had a 405-line, monochrome image fading in. The viewable area had shrunk from 50" to about 16", and blurred a little. But the magic wasn't over!!! Instead of 400 Freeview channels (many of them HD), Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc, when I touched the remote against the TV side panel (which is the only it seemed to work), I discovered I had a choice of either "BBC-TV", or "Independent Television" (which, I discovered,, aired "commercials breaks - a little like modern-day UA-cam). I sat in wonder as the Six O'clock News began. When the newsreader began speaking, instead of my Dolby 5.1 Speakers firing up, I heard a "tinny" sound that simply emanated from somewhere in my LG TV. I sat in wonder and flicked between the two channel choices all night. Well, until 11.30pm, when both stations suddenly closed down, (the "BBC-TV" channel ended with a hearty rendition of the National Anthem - which I felt was a thoughtful touch). IT WAS A TV TIME MACHINE!! AN AMAZING CREATION!! YOU CAN ENJOY IT TOO - ASSUMING THAT YOU HAPPEN TO OWN ANY OF THE "EMIGUIDES" TAPES!!!1 Sad Note: My wife has not spoken to me since I created my TV Time Machine, and has gone to stay with her Mother for "a little rest". CREATE YOUR TV TIME MACHINE, AND YOU'LL NEVER LOOK BACK - BECAUSE YOU WILL ALREADY *BE* BACK!!;!1 **** NOTE: All the above was satire intended to take the piss out of nonsense I've just seen in this video. So all you need is a CD. And some aerial cable. And glue. Solder and a soldering iron. A toilet roll. Pliers. Cutters. A stanley blade. Or, you know, 5 dollars to buy a purpose made product that will do a better job.
